I left for Burnet County early this morning. Hwy contractors were laying hot mix in my neighborhood but I was not delayed and made it to Granite Shoals Tx for their Veterans parade. I thought it a little unusual for the parade to be several days before Veterans Day but it will give me a chance to make a second Veterans Day parade in downtown Austin on Wednesday.
