With a chance of rain sometimes after sundown I decided to skip the trip to Marble Falls tonight to watch the 4th of July fireworks and instead will watch my fireworks on Television. I was still able to get in some 4th of July activities by going to a patriotic concert at the Texas Capital. I sat under the Capital's rotunda and listened to the Austin Philharmonic Orchestra. On the way to and from Austin I passed by Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic site. I thought for sure there would be a long line of cars waiting to get into see Willie but I did not see any cars waiting to get in when I passed the site fifteen minutes before it was to open and I saw only one car pulling the site entrance when I passed by during the middle of the afternoon. I guess the $55 ticket was too much for a lot of people.
