I debated all day about driving into Austin during afternoon rush hour traffic but a chance to attend a party for musician Jimmie Vaughan was just too much to pass up. Jimmie's little brother Stevie Ray Vaughan was one of my favorite musicians so getting a chance at a personal and close up meeting with Jimmie was the highlight of my week. I got to the party about thirty minutes before it was to start and upon my arrival, Jimmie Vaughan was standing outside. I got to visit with him before I took my place in the standing room only event.
