During the Great Depression. President Franklin D Roosevelt employed artist to paint murals in government building.  One of the last remaining murals painted in rural US Post Offices is in Rockdale Texas. After 80 years the mural still hangs in the Post Office.  A few weeks ago I visited the Post Office.
