Upon arriving at an event honoring breast cancer survivors I was given a ribbon to wear.  I pinned the  ribbon on and continued to walking into the arena when women stopped me recognizing the ribbon and directed me to pink lemonade,  pink cookies and pink cupcakes. Once inside the arena, people at the door gave me pink pom-poms and pink longhorn towels.  My team won by 20 points which made for a fitting tribute to all Longhorn fans who are  breast cancer survivors . Also over the weekend I attended a weather festival, learning lots of things about server weather in Texas.  The festival showed a free movie in the IMAX Theater and a second free movie in the triple screen State Theater.  I happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able to get a free ticket to both movies. The only disappointment of the weekend happened when I could not get a ticket to a play I wanted see.  I got to the box office 55 minutes before the curtian was to go up and found the play was sold out.
