Back in January they insulate the pumphouse and did a great job. For some reason they did not insulate the outside pipes. When the next strong freeze came it got down to 20 degrees with strong wind and stayed there for almost 36 hours.  The two outside pipes froze solid causing the pump to shut off.  The next week they insulated the pipes.  Supper was roast beef and cheese open face with garlic mashed potatoes and peas.
