Yesterday I spent the afternoon in south Austin visiting with friends. Learned that one member of the group died from an over dose of drugs this week and services were held for him on Tuesday, he was only 31. Stopped at Target and spent 1&half hour at Borders Books. Stopped at Sams on the way out of town, Sams deal of the day- 16 inch pizza with all the toppings, cooked and ready to go $7.82
Today, between jobs spent an hour at Starbucks and during the noon hour went to a concert in Lakeway. The Austin Cord Rangers, a men's quartet, they were real good. Their rendition of Shenandoah was my favorite piece of the concert. A little before 5pm Glenda stopped by to visit, little latter visited with Ed. He will be changing job sights on Monday and will be living on the 3000ac ranch for as long as the job takes. I will be keeping close watch on his property while he is gone during the week, I am the only one who has a key to his house, cars and storage vault.
