Although it only rained one inch today, it was raining when I left the house at 8 AM and was still raining when I returned at 8 PM. With such a dreary day I headed for Marble Falls after lunch and spent the afternoon at a basketball tournament in the Marble Falls High School Gym. I watched two games then took a dinner break and drove to Granite Shoals for a Rib eye dinner. I thought for sure the Marble Falls night Christmas Parade would be canceled because of the rain but on my way back to the basketball tournament I saw light flashing on Main street in downtown Marble Falls. I did a quick u-turn and was able to get a spot in the crowd just as the first float of the parade passed by. After the paraded had ended I went back to the tournament and watched my third game then drove home in the rain.
