My last stop today was full of colorful entertainment. Lots of dancers provided the entertainment for one of the City of Austin's Thanksgiving dinners. I ate a traditional Turkey and dressing dinner and enjoyed the dancers at the Pam AM Rec Center in east Austin. I started the day at the Pedernales Fire Station # 1. The new $2 million station was dedicated this morning. The station is less than 2 miles from my house so I joined community people to listen to speeches and watch the ribbon cutting and the customary pushing the firetruck into the station. Also swung by the AA club for a meeting at noon and got a look at the new floor the AA club installed.
