Large construction equipment started rolling into the neighborhood at 7:15 this morning and continued until 4:30. Convoys of dump trucks, street sweepers, asphalt machines and eighteen wheelers hauling all sorts of tractors. All the equipment was heading into Pace Bend Park. I never found out what was going on in the park that demanded so much equipment. I went over to neighbor J's and set and visited for awhile this afternoon and tonight neighbor Darlene brought me a large container of home made candy.
