The Butridge Gallery is exhibiting a group of ghost paintings so I combined the gallery tour and an early morning walk through Zilker Park which is only a few blocks from the gallery. Took a late coffee break at the downtown Austin Farmers Market in Republic Square Park where I sat under the parks huge Oak tree and listened to a performance by the Austin Banjo Club. After the banjo music I was able to get to south Austin for the last half of the noon AA meeting. At the present I am waiting for something called Concours de Chant to start at Bates recital Hall on the University of Texas campus. I really don't know what this is but I think it is going to be individual people singing operatic pieces languages other than English.
