I stayed home and waited for the Federal Express delivery man all Friday afternoon. I had ordered a package from Google on Thursday at 3:45 PM and on Friday at 4:45 PM it was delivered to my house. I would say that's about as good as service gets. Usually I don't set home and wait on a package delivery but this time my signature was required because of the high value of the package. The FedX warehouse in Austin is a 88 mile round trip from my house and I sure didn't want to make the drive to retrieve the package. I've had to make that trip before and it's a pain in the you know what. UPS will always leave a package at my door or get a neighbor to sign for it but the FedX drivers are very particular and will not do that. Because of having to wait for the driver I had to cancel my plans for the fish fry in Granite Shoals TX and miss the first half of the basketball game I planned on attending at the Marble Falls High School. Friday night was not a total loss. I got to the Marble Falls Gym in time to watch two and a half basketball games. The Lake Travis Freshmen, JV and Varsity teams all defeated Marble Falls HS. At the present time I am drinking coffee on the UT campus and about to start my hunt for a sculpture I've been looking for a long time. A life size sculpture of a horse should not be hard to miss but many times I've walked by the location where I thought it was and have never been able to locate it. The horse has got to be inside of one of the buildings at that location. Today I will investigate the buildings in the area of the sculpture's address.
