On Saturday I joined hundreds of people to celebrate Charles Darwin's birthday. The birthday celebration is an annual affair held at the Texas Memorial Museum. The museum had lots of hands on displays and birthday cake for all. During the Darwin day at the museum I attended several lectures on the evolution of species. After the celebration at the Texas Memorial Museum I spent the remainder of the afternoon in the reading room of the Periodical Department at the University of Texas.
