High temperature today was 42 degrees with 0.04 inch of rain.   Lots of emergency vehicles passed the neighborhood this morning heading to Pace Bend Park.  There was supposed to be a stranded kayaker in Lake Travis who was  holding on to some rocks while shooting of flares.  Turned  out to be a fake call. Took some photos for brother.   Manager stopped by today to give me a pork steak and some sausage links.  He had been to the Southside Market in Elgin and picked up the meat.  Said he will be gone again tomorrow.  Supper was chicken and dumplings, green beans and garlic bread.
